Bella Beads has been advertising with CJ and Debbie Ray for about 2 years and it continually amazes me how many people come into the shop with the response, "Hey heard CJ and Deb talking about you guys this morning and decided to see what all the fuss was about." We always manage to show them something that they can't possibly do without, and get a promise from them that they will be back. Our customer growth is a direct result of the great advertising we get with CJ and Debbie Ray.
As a sideline story: On our second Christmas in business, I decided to send CJ and Deb "Bella Beads Christmas Gifts". Deb received a pair of custom Swarovski Christmas Tree earrings and CJ a necklace and earrings set that we thought would be appropriate for giving to his daughter Brittni. In true Bella Beads tradition when a custom piece is created it is named for the person we designed it for. CJ and Deb discussed their gifts on the air for weeks before Christmas, and now 2 years later we are still getting people in the shop asking for the Brittni line of jewelry (which we still make, by the way), and Debbie Ray's Christmas Tree earrings. It always amazes me how many people are reached by radio. Thank you Townsquare Media, CJ and Debbie Ray and Brittany.

Healing House is so grateful to have a community partner like Townsquare Media! This year we have publicized several of our events through Townsquare Media and have seen tremendous results. We began receiving phone calls as soon as our announcement run. This year's Healing House signature fundraiser, Martinis '10 is expected to be our most successful year ever thanks to the power of radio advertising. We have more than doubled our table sales this year, and people all over town are joining in on the Martini Tour! Thanks to CJ and Debbie Ray for their excitement about the Martinis '10 event. Their enthusiasm is contagious in the community.
Townsquare Media also promotes our Family Adventure Day. Thanks to the on-air promotions and Townsquare Media's participation, this continues to grow and is fast becoming a favorite activity for Lafayette families.
Thanks to Townsquare Media, we have attracted more volunteers than ever before. Our training classes fill up as soon as it is mentioned on the radio. The new volunteers and the proceeds from our fundraisers will help Healing House; Hope For Grieving Children, continue it's mission of providing support services to children who have experienced the death of a parent or sibling.

Just wanted to let you know how much we love our relationship with Planet Radio. The Planet Radio Punch promotion was an awesome idea for our grand opening! It helped with branding our place as the place for Planet listeners to eat, drink, and watch a game.
As you know, Planet Radio is our music system at Dix. One of our new managers made a mistake of putting the radio on a local Hip Hop station and our customers started complaining! When I found out that he had changed stations, told him to never touch the radio dial again!

Just a note to give you some feedback on the response we had from the live spot we did on Tuesday. I would call it a success....not completely slammed for lunch but measurably more activity and business. We had 5 "CJ & Debbie Ray" specials redeemed and a noticeable number of new customers that were there because of the spot that morning. Some mentioned it specifically and others just had that "look" about them. We even had a couple of CJ groupies....had that blank stare in their eyes while demanding (in a monotone voice) "the Pepper Jelly Ribs like CJ was eating on the radio this morning". I would credit most of our increase in traffic to the spot....both Marilynn and I were very pleased with the result and fully intend to make CJ and Debbie Ray a regular part of our advertising thrust from now on.

As we approach our 2 year anniversary at Miss Mamies' Henderson location, we are happy to report business is great! In the casino business, we are affected by many aspects. We often notice "play" is dropped during lent, holidays, summer vacations, back to school, etc. However, Miss Mamies' Henderson is thrilled that the "play" has increased and continues to climb! At a time when gas prices continue to rise and kids are going back to school, it's almost unbelievable!
We believe our success is based on two things: good customer service and most importantly, good advertising! We would like to give a great big thanks to 99.9 KTDY for promoting our mid-week Lunch Bunch. It's amazing to be here on a typical, quiet Wednesday morning and when the clock strikes 11:00, CJ & Deb walk through the doors, the atmosphere changes, tremendously! People come from all over to "check us out" just because they heard it on the radio. Two weeks later, we see them again, this time, with friends in tow. That is exactly how "good advertising" should work and we are pleased by the response we get from 99.9 KTDY. Needless to say, we are excited about reaching our 2 year anniversary, here in Henderson.
